Organic Origin 2

2019

Public Light Event with temporary collages on building. Curated by Christina Dvinge, Kaleidoskop.

Organic Origin 2 is a sensuous shadow play created by creating analog projections on the facade of a school for music / Musikhøjskolen as part of the Nigh of Culture / Kulturnatten. Based on our bodily connection with each other and the world, transience, plant material, photos and drawings merge into new motifs that create visual stories in the courtyard. The light collages were shaped by weather and mood and based on improvisations.

At its core, Organic Origin 1 and 2 explored the physical and conceptual connections between the human body and the organic world: cycles of growth, disintegration, and renewal. Through experiments with digital printing in liquid form, the installations remained in transformation, blurring the boundaries between image, matter, and process.

Organic Origin examined creation as both origin and repetition—a movement between breakdown and regeneration, where forms and cells appeared, dissolved, and reassembled in new constellations.
